Write to the research desk
Platform Facts NG is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. Its subject is one measurement, taken from named public sources and republished with the date and the hour it was read.

What the desk does
The desk reads the SEC Nigeria's published notices and records each one as a row in a table. Every row states the SEC's act, with the date and hour the source was read, and the site adds no verdict of its own. The source is named under every table, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. The desk repeats this reading on a schedule and replaces the table when the source changes.
The desk's responsibility is to reproduce the measurement accurately, not to interpret it. A reader who wants to know what a notice means should read the SEC's own text, which is linked. The desk does not rate the notices, does not rank them, and does not say which one matters more. It only records what the SEC published and when the desk read it.
What is worth writing about
A figure that looks wrong is worth writing about. If a row does not match the linked source, the desk wants to know. A source that has moved or closed is also worth reporting, because the link may break for every reader. A question about how the measurement is taken is welcome; the desk will explain its method, but it will not argue about the SEC's own decisions.
A correction is the most useful message. If a figure is wrong, the desk corrects it and dates the correction. The correction appears on the same page, with the date it was made, so a reader can see that the record changed. The desk does not remove the old figure without noting the change, because the history of the correction is itself part of the record.
What happens to a correction
When a correction is received, the desk checks it against the named public source. If the source shows a different figure, the desk changes the row and adds a dated note saying it was corrected. The note is placed near the table, not hidden in a separate page. The old figure is not kept on the page, but the fact that a correction occurred is recorded.
If the source itself has changed since the desk read it, the desk re-reads the source and updates the row with the new reading. The desk does not argue with the source; it only records what the source now says. If the source has moved, the desk replaces the link and notes that the link changed. A reader who reported the error will see the change on the page.
What the desk cannot answer
The desk cannot give personal investment advice. It will not say whether to buy, sell, or hold any security, and it will not answer questions about a reader's own portfolio. The desk cannot help with a broker's account, including opening, funding, or withdrawing from an account at FxPro or any other broker. The desk has no access to any reader's account and cannot see balances, trades, or verification status.
The desk does not accept tips about future price movements, insider information, or unverified rumours. It does not publish anonymous allegations about companies or individuals. The contact address is for corrections and questions about the measurement only. Any message asking for investment advice or account help will not receive a reply, because the desk is not licensed to give those answers.
